I started taking my camera along with me to local live music events and all of a sudden everything aligned, my deeply rooted love for music and an outlet with which I could finally express myself. The whirlwind swept me up and before I knew it, I was shooting bands that I have idolized my whole life. Bands like The Zolas, Dan Mangan, Mt. Joy, Young the Giant, Broods, King Princess, Hippo Campus, Mother Mother, The Dead South, Said The Whale and Yukon Blonde.
Aside from live music photography, I love capturing couples, elevating clothing brands and empowering women with boudoir sessions.
Creating a safe and inclusive space is my number one priority. An environment where women can let go and really dive into their power and where members of the LGBTQ+ community feel safe and seen.
I am a mental health advocate, spending a lot of time connecting with those dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD and more. I believe human connection and reaching out to check-in on each other can make a difference in our lowest moments. You will also find me writing, singing and playing piano somewhere close to a body of water.
"Bailey Morgan’s photos are incredible. The first time she shot my band was at the commodore and she honestly snapped one of my favourite pictures of myself, perfectly capturing my personality (outfit haha) and lighting. She is an absolute sweetheart and would love to work with her again in the near future" ️-Dwight Abell, Bassist, The Zolas
"Working with Bailey is the most fun - so much so that she has become Strange Breed's "Un-Official / Official Photographer". We are an extremely awkward bunch of people, and she always helps us stay at ease and create amazing images! The moments she captures at our shows/live sessions always show the essence of what our band is about, and have such unique stylistic details. That's a hard thing to do! We love you Bailey! "-Nicolle Dupas, Lead Singer & Guitarist, Strange Breed
"We chose to work with Bailey on our band’s promotional shots, and did not regret it. Before we started shooting, she was already thinking of aesthetic and locations. She was always up for any changes or ideas we had during the shoot, and brought a lot of her own. The entire shoot was easy-going and fun, which made for a stellar experience. The turn-around time for the finished product was surprisingly quick, which shows she was excited about it as we were.
Bailey has an eye for detail, passion, and an artistic mindset. There is no doubt that Bailey will become a staple of the Vancouver photography scene, and go on to do amazing work around the world."- Ryan Ewanchuk, Drummer, Fellow Kids
"Bailey's concert photography captures artists in a way that feels both intimate, yet filled with spark. She is personable, and a true professional in terms of communication and turn-around time, It has been a pleasure having her as part of our team! "-Natalie Hoy, Co-Founder, The Permanent Rain Press
"I have had Bailey shoot multiple Loop Sessions events over the last year, and will continue to book her for any event I can. Bailey is an extremely professional, enthusiastic and beyond capable photographer. If you want someone that is passionate, dependable, versatile, easy to work with, and has a super fast turnaround time, look no further."-Mikey J Blige, Loop Sessions Vancouver Cofounder
